Sterling Hollow Block Friction and Strength Degradation Test
Sterling Hollow Blocks have long been suspected of deteriorating quickly in strength due to their construction and material. We tested used Hollow Blocks to assess these effects and draw conclusions about the appropriateness of their use as a rappel backup and friction hitch.
